Nixon Wong

Director & Head Physiotherapist

BPhty (Hons), APAM

Nixon completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland before relocating to Melbourne, where he has been practising in private practice.

He is the founder of Beacon Physiotherapy, where he focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Nixon has a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, and helping people return to the activities they enjoy, whether that’s running, sport, or everyday movement without pain.

Nixon believes in a holistic and individualised approach to treatment. His management combines hands-on therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, patient education, and long-term self-management strategies to achieve lasting results. He works closely with each patient to develop tailored rehabilitation programs that support recovery, prevent re-injury, and optimise overall function and wellbeing.

Outside of the clinic, Nixon enjoys playing basketball, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

Nicholas Cheng

Senior Physiotherapist

DPT (UniMelb), APAM

Nick is passionate about providing the best possible service. He is a huge advocate for settling pain effectively using hands-on therapy then rehabilitating the root cause of the problem with exercise. Nick has extensive history as a physio and can proficiently treat a wide range of issues such as musculoskeletal problems, vertigo/dizziness, and TMJ/jaw issues.

Morris Chan

Physiotherapist

BPhty (Hons), APAM

Morris graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of South Australia and has a strong interest in musculoskeletal injuries. He enjoys using a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education to achieve meaningful and lasting recovery. He is passionate about empowering patients with the confidence and tools they need to reach their goals.

Morris has a particular interest in upperlimb conditions, including neck and shoulder injuries. He takes a structured approach to assessment and treatment, guiding patients through clear steps to improve their function, build confidence, and reduce the risk of reinjury.

Outside the clinic, Morris enjoys strength training, soccer, and longdistance running.

Jason Yeung

Head Occupational Therapist

Jason holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Monash University in 2017.

With a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, Jason has extensive experience in residential aged care and community settings since graduation.

He is dedicated to delivering client-centred services: maximising functional ability, safety, and independence among older people in daily activities (e.g., self-care and community engagement).


Jason’s expertise includes fall prevention and management, pressure care, as well as aids and equipment prescription. He strives to promote the well-being and quality of life of his clients, ensuring they receive individualised support to meet their specific needs.

Theresa Chow

Senior Occupational Therapist

Theresa is a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist with over six years of clinical experience, specialising in aged care. A graduate of Monash University in 2018, Theresa has refined her expertise in both residential aged care and community settings, working closely with older adults to promote independence and enhance their quality of life.

Theresa brings extensive experience in supporting individuals with diverse neurological impairments, chronic health conditions, and mobility challenges. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive assessment and prescription of minor and major assistive equipment, home modifications, and strategies to maintain her client’s daily functioning.

With a commitment to person-centred care, Theresa adopts a holistic approach to therapy, collaborating with clients, families, equipment suppliers, multidisciplinary teams and case managers. She firmly believes in the transformative power of occupational therapy to enable older adults to maintain their independence, engage in meaningful activities, and remain active participants in their communities.


Gladys Lee

Practice Manager & Pilates Instructor

Gladys is the Practice Manager of Beacon Physio & Pilates, where she oversees daily operations, coordinates the team, and ensures a smooth and positive experience for both clients and staff. She plays a key role in managing administrative processes, supporting clinic growth, and maintaining high standards of care and service.

She began her Pilates journey over five years ago and is certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates through APPI. Gladys has experience teaching a wide range of clients, helping them improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing across various studio settings. She is multilingual, speaking Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

In 2025, she launched a Pilates program for children, visiting childcare centres and schools to introduce young people to healthy movement habits. By combining her background in education with her Pilates expertise, Gladys creates engaging and supportive sessions for the younger generation while helping clients of all ages build strength, confidence, and body awareness.
